As he immersed himself in the spectacle of fashion week after fashion week, Joel's creative mind absorbed every detail of the designer creations, from the iconic elegance of Louis Vuitton to the edgy allure of Off-White. Yet, amidst this plethora of luxury brands, Joel discerned a gap, a space waiting to be filled with something unique, something that would resonate with people on a deeper level.

In 2018, Joel made a daring decision. He veered away from his career in hospitality and embarked on a journey to revolutionize the world of fashion. "There's something about a suede cap," he declared one morning, "it's not just a cap, it's a statement. The fit, the feel—it's incomparable."

Driven by a passion to connect with people on a personal level, Joel poured his heart and soul into his new venture. Thus, Mazco was born, with a logo that spoke volumes—blue for water, yellow for sun, and red for fire—elements that resonated deeply with the spirit of New York City.

But as time passed, Joel felt the winds of change blowing once more. The pandemic forced him to reevaluate Mazco's direction. Two years of introspection followed, as Joel delved into his childhood memories, recalling days spent at his mother's fashion factory on 32nd St. Those early experiences shaped his vision for Mazco's future.

With determination in his heart, Joel reached out to a trusted mentor, the legendary stylist Fat Joe. Inspired by Fat Joe's boldness and creativity, Joel entrusted him with Mazco's rebranding. The result was a fusion of Gen Z flair and urban edge—a graffiti-inspired logo that breathed new life into Mazco's identity.

It was a journey fraught with challenges—countless prototypes, endless revisions, and a hefty investment of time and money. Yet, Joel remained steadfast in his belief that Mazco was destined for greatness.

And now, in 2024, as Mazco unveils its latest collection to the world, Joel stands at the helm of a brand that transcends boundaries—a brand that celebrates diversity, individuality, and the timeless allure of luxury.
